What will we do with the information you give us?

What information are we asking for and why?

The information that we are asking is used to assess suitability for work - this assessment is not automatic. You do not need to provide the information we ask for, but refusal may affect the outcome of your application. We may ask you to provide information in the form of oral, postal, e-mail or social media.

During the application process, we will ask you for personal information, such as your name, address, date of birth, gender, social security number or e-mail address and telephone numbers of the social security number.

To use our right to perform verification duties, we will ask you for proof of your identity. Such proof may be a personal ID card, driving license, a letter from an immigration office or a copy of a passport with a personalization page and a visa page. We may ask for a letter confirming the social security number from the appropriate government department to enable us to confirm your right to work in the EU. We may also ask for tax forms for your previous employment to enable us to deduct the correct income tax from your earnings. We will ask for school certificates and work history to meet the suitability requirements for the position. Recruitment agencies

In the case of some job offers, we can use a recruitment agency or an organization dealing with the recruitment of senior employees. We will require them to manage data in accordance with the RODO. We will not store any personal data unless you are employed.

Data storage

All computer and paper archives of the company will be destroyed within 7 years. In the case of employees' personal data, their data will be removed from the processing environment immediately after the date of their departure from work or as soon as practically possible after this date. The above also includes training information and payroll and attendance data. There may be a requirement for the processing of personal data at a later date, for example in the case of tax returns at the end of the year, however, after these overriding reasons, the personal data of people will be deleted. In the case of people applying for a job, the data will be stored only after confirming the employment contract.

You enjoy rights under European legislation, commonly referred to as the GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation. The Hilton Food Group applies the principles underlying the data protection law of all its subsidiaries and adheres to all relevant privacy and personal data storage laws. This section applies to all people whose personal data is stored by Hilton.

In particular, you have the right to ensure that the personal data provided to us are processed correctly, for the purpose for which they were transmitted and in accordance with the law - in particular, the law commonly referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation - RODO. The legal basis for the processing of personal data will be to complete a contract of employment or the supply of goods or services. You have the right to become familiar with all personal data concerning your person.

The above includes the right of access to data within one month of submitting such request. You are entitled to receive data in a "portable" form. This means that we will provide you with this data in a commonly used format, such as .pdf, word, .txt or in other commonly used formats, to ensure its portability - so you can take it with you and use it anywhere. If an application for access to data is submitted, their format and context can be discussed with the Data Administrator. You have the right to correct any incorrectly saved data immediately. If the legal basis for information processing is specific consent, you are entitled to withdraw consent at any time.

As part of the Hilton Food Group, virtually any data processing will be carried out in connection with the implementation of a contract of employment or delivery, and the Hilton Food Group will not normally use consent as a legal ground for data processing. If you want to withdraw consent, you can do so by contacting the data controller.

You are also entitled to limit the content of personal data we process, which you can discuss with the data controller and organize the removal of unnecessary data. You have the right to delete data. Widely referred to as the "right to be forgotten" - you can ask for the removal of your personal data. In practice, this means that we will stop processing personal data upon request.
